On the first burn, allow the wax to melt edge-to-edge (a full melt pool). This sets the “memory” for future burns and helps prevent tunneling.
How long should I burn a candle at a time?
A comfortable range is typically 2–4 hours. Long burns can overheat the vessel; very short burns may not allow an even melt pool.
Do I need to trim the wick?
Yes—trim before each burn to keep the flame steady and reduce soot. A neat wick helps the candle burn more cleanly and evenly.
Why is my candle sooting or smoking?
Soot is often caused by a wick that’s too long, drafts, or burning too long. Trim the wick and move the candle away from vents, fans, and open windows.

Yes — our candles are designed around a clean-burning soy wax base and a steady, comfortable burn experience.
Are candles safe for pets?
Every home is different. Keep flames supervised, ensure good airflow, and place candles out of reach. If anyone is sensitive to fragrance, choose lighter profiles and shorter burns.
Where should I place my candle when burning?
On a heat-safe, stable surface—away from drafts, curtains, and anything flammable. Never leave a candle unattended.
